It has been a while!

Over the last 10 years quite a bit has taken place in my life. 4 kids and two marriages later I am not the same Earlie I was earlier ha! I’ve transitioned from specializing in retail to honing in on my natural abilities with healthcare. I have taken the big girl move with my finances and started investing about a year now. I have also gained my drivers license and passport with the amazing help of my wonderful and incredible husband! Life has been good, it has its bitter moments but they are worth loving every moment. It feels good to find my way back up this blog although I know it isn’t popularly explored by followers. The biggest win is knowing this is mines and I can put into words all my lives, wins, fails, and lessons learned here for you. Let’s get back into exploring this beautiful and fashionable world! I have so much in store for you!

Make Me Happy!!!

This spring I'm revamping my cosmetic collection a bit. I adore my cosmetic guru and close friend Jeanette aka "Downtown Pepper". Reading up on her blog about the new spring collection at MAC cosmetics (Quite Cute) got me interested about the colors that will be gracing the fashionistas of the NYC streets this spring. I've always loved pastel pinks and purples, and yellows, so naturally I will be investing in the candy colored palletes. Also NYX has become a favorite of mine for the past few months, and it just amazes me, the quality and affordabilty! I've been using the Jumbo Eye Pencil, which only cost me 4 bucks, and I love it!! I have to say, out of all the sephora, sheseido, and mac eyeliners I've had, the NYX is ultimately my favorite. It is easy to apply, it is very smooth, and doesn't tug at my lids when I apply. And I simply take my blend brush and smudge for my daily sultry eye look ;-) Also interested in the NYX HD Studio Foundation, and HD Primer. Since my skin is very sensitive and acne prone, I can't use this heavy foundation every day. But it is good for special occasions when lots of photos are taken

The beginning of a new shopping journey: Forever 21 will forever have my credit card info!

The beginning of a new shopping journey: Forever 21 will forever have my credit card info!

Top Designers in Super Stores

I love shopping for limited edition Anna Sui clothing, especially when I can go a few isles down and get a gallon of milk and loaf of bread too! It's the coolest thing that these super stores like Target and Kohl's sell high end clothing at amazing prices. Of course the boutique/ department store collaboration won't push for extreme detailing, or precise garment quality. But considering the constuction and price, it's still pretty amazing. And even more amazing that these designers only feature there collection in department stores for a limited time.   http://www.facebook.com/TargetStyle

Forever 21 will forever have my credit card info!

I love finding cute clothes for an even cuter price, and Forever 21 provides just that. Though they have very trendy clothing, some of the clothings quality is very poor. So it's cool to shop there, just don't be dissapointed if your brand new $15 jacket rips after a few wears. But not everything lacks potential of hanging in your closet. When you shop at Forever 21, you aren't shopping for a fine detailed product, you are shopping for a trend. Something quick, cute, fun, and just for THAT moment. I mean come on, the name says it all....

The Spring Is Near!

It seems as though I am working for clothes.. Club Monaco's Spring 2011 collection is HAWT!! Peaches, ivory, and olives grace, light weight fabrics with extreme detailing and the tougher garments with minimal. Chinos are big this season, and if you aren't ready for the relaxed look, fitted jeans or pants should have bold pastel color. Lacey tops, butterfly cashmere sweaters, large overcoats, the classic trench, and the list goes on... And did I mention SALE!! There are plenty of markdowns in this elite 5th Avenue boutique. http://www.clubmonaco.com/
